“An open-space house for a young family with natural light.
WN House is a small house with the ground floor being used as a residential area and the second floor functioning as an office. Upon entering the door, there is a genkan (Japanese-style foyer) facing the inner court. The inner court serves as a spot for light to enter the house while maintaining the privacy of the house owner and their family.
The bedroom doors are on the right side of the genkan. Directly opposite the inner court, there is a living and dining area. The two are connected by a small corridor beside the inner court.
The dining area is also connected by a large sliding glass door, thus providing a seamless transition between outdoors and indoors. Rows of bamboo are planted in the garden next to the dining area. The green color brings out a contrast to the monochrome-colored house.
